Indeed, 16 employees of our SUD Alpha Maintenance Center took part on Friday May 28, 2021 in a cleanwalk dedicated to cleaning the beaches of Laurons and the calanque des Renaïres, in Martigues. This operation took place in the company of employees of SMRI and TCPI, other subsidiaries of the Ponticelli Frères Group involved in the process launched within the Group.
These 2 hours of collection, supervised by the association "Les Perles de la Côte Bleue" in partnership with Lakaa, made it possible to collect nearly 200kg of waste, the equivalent of a dump truck, which can be treated and recycled. rather than polluting this magnificent natural site.
The money donated to the "Les Perles de la Côte Bleue" association will finance the purchase of pocket ashtrays which will be distributed to tourists on the beaches this summer.
Another great action, which should initiate others both within the company and in the personal lives of aware employees. Indeed, a very large majority of them believe that this type of event has a strong impact on their vision of the waste problem and will lead them to change certain habits in the future.
